After long periods of continuous operation, routine maintenance will help maintain engine performance and extend engine life.
First, check the tension of the V-belt: excessive tension causes heating of the bearings, insufficient tension causes a decrease in speed and even the belt coming off. To adjust, loosen the paw mounting bolts, set a moderate tension and tighten the bolts again.
Next, bearing lubrication is maintained: after long-term operation, lubricant is added in a timely manner, if necessary, pre-cleaning the bearings to restore normal lubrication and avoid damage due to dry friction. You should regularly check the tightness of the terminals in the terminal box and remove dust from the housing fins to ensure proper cooling.
During operation, monitor sound and vibration; If there is unusual noise or a rapid rise in temperature, stop the engine promptly for inspection. During long-term storage they provide protection from moisture.
Before restarting, measure the insulation resistance and turn on the engine only after confirming normal values.
