Underground treatment and tunneling areas of coal mines are characterized by humidity, large amounts of dust and the presence of flammable gases, including methane.
This is a typical explosive environment with strict requirements for safety and engine protection. YBK3 three-phase asynchronous motors for underground coal mines are made with explosion-proof enclosure according to GB3836.2 and are marked Exd Ⅰ Mb.
They are designed for general purpose drive in areas with methane or dust. Standard operating conditions: altitude no more than 1000 m, temperature from −15℃ to +35℃.
IP55 rating allows for dusty or humid environments; Class F insulation and Class B heat rating help ensure longevity and reliability. The terminal box on top of the housing allows entry from four sides, with a rubber sheathed cable or in a steel pipe, facilitating underground installation.
The motors are suitable for mine lifting, transport and ventilation installations.
